Organize, Organize, Organize!

As EDA software matures, the job of component organization becomes less and less burdensome.  Some software, such as Altium Designer has advanced features, such as real-time inventory control, change orders processing, etc...  But for now, we have to coordinate 300 participants across a half-dozen EDA programs.  And the way to do that is with an old-fashioned, unsophisticated, database.

In this book, you will learn about components sizes, packages, and land patterns.  In the activity that follows, you will get a chance to enter several of the components we will use in this design into a database.
